Getting ready for Bali !!

Sharing my personal thoughts on Bali Flight, Stays & Activities

Recommended Time to Visit: May to October months, when Monsoon rain won’t disrupt our outdoor activities.

I traveled from Sydney, Australia and two of my friends travelled from Chennai, India.

Travel Requirements

Indian Passport holders or Visa free nations can get Visa on Arrival or can get eVisa quickly.

Cost :500k IDR

Keep your International Covid Certificate & accommodation details handy.

Flights Search

The most crucial part to Bali trip is finding the cheap flights during its peak season.

Tip: Keep an eye on low-cost airlines all-round the year not only the flights but the Holiday packages as well.

Flight from Sydney:

I used Jetstar Holiday Package Booking.

To & fro flights with One Legian Hotel costed 646 AUD.

A fair deal :)

I had selected the cheapest hotel ‘The One Legian’ ( I had checked the reviews though and found its a pretty decent Hotel with free breakfast at Bali) We didnt use the hotel though.

Where to book stay?

My favorite sites to book stays: Booking.com , Agoda , Airbnb

We booked first 4 nights in Airbnb Villa Krishna Ubud , because we wanted to stay in Ubud centre with Private Pool.

And last 2 nights in Pawana Villas Ubud, again we luckily got 2 bedroom with private pool in a bamboo type house.

Bali has cheap accommodations with private pools.Make use of it.

Choose the location based on your liking whether the Green rice terraces or city vibe.

We stayed near Ubud so it will be convenient to travel all around East, West, North and South of Bali.

Also consider what do you want to explore? How will you travel like scooter/car or can walk some distance?

Activities /Attractions

Bali is a wonderful location with culturally rich temples, mountains, rice terraces, waterfalls, beaches, shopping.
